I had every intention of posting at least one post more than I have done this week, but I realised I can’t do more than three things at the same time, the first thing being the 9-to-grind; the second being fixating on a photo ‘project’ in a city I’ll probably never visit but nonetheless, I had to give it my best shot and go through the photos I took in Marrakech and decide on which ones to submit… The third being, uh, this old blog. So… I got through the week, and finally sent off the photos this morning, but it has been damp and uninspiring outside all day, which means I’ve continued in the photo editing mode all day. Seriously, all day. I’ve been at this for more than 12 hours. I’ve been looking at the photos from Rome today, and I realised with a touch of happiness that actually I have quite a few with which I’m pleased.
… The thing about Rome is you don’t go there and say, “May I have a soy chai latte?” So I had espresso, even though I worried about acid wear on the old enamel, and it gave me a dry mouth for an hour afterwards, and I did it more than once. As they say, “When in Rome…”
